In the heart of Italy, among the green hills, at the border of Tuscany and Le Marche rises Villa Marilla, a  happy and lively place where cheerful  and funny guests, old grandfathers and grandmothers coming  from different regions of Italy, live together.

"THE GRANNIES SHOW" is new  TV series that narrates about the adventures of Mario and Gino. Mario Mazzaretti comes from Le Marche, an ex-farmworker, a simple man who sees the world through rose-coloured glasses. He is easygoing and lives without problems.

Gino Civetta, his friend is Tuscan, he is always angry and quarrelsome. He tries to mind his own business but he is always involved in every Mario’s adventure. These two characters are completely opposite. Their cues destroy boredom, make every day light, funny and full of life.

Side by side with them live other guests of almshouse, a dozen of old men and women who have entered in their second childhood and capable for any kind of thing.

"THE GRANNIES SHOW" – perfect series for family viewing, a right product for the audience from 7 years old up to the people of characters’ age.

 These series have been planned for TV, WEB TV, INTERNET, downloading for iPHONE.

The product consists of mini sketches 30 seconds each and short series of 3 min. made in style of Cabaret where the grandfathers and grandmothers of almshouse act as comics. Every sketch is recreated the atmosphere of home theatre.

The life of 12 grandfathers and grandmothers leaded by Mario and Gino is narrated in Cabaret comic style with ironic cues of characters.

The genre in question, 3D animation technique, wide audience make this idea commercially attractive in terms of merchandising: gadgets, toys, stationery for school, comic-books, DVD, downloads in Internet for PC and cellular phones application, characters’ usage for TV and outdoor advertising etc.
